FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a daily money manager?

A daily money manager (DMM) handles the financial administration tasks that fall between what a CPA, financial advisor, or attorney does — bill payment, account reconciliation, document organization, fraud monitoring, and monthly reporting.

Are you a financial advisor or investment manager?

No. Granitefield Financial provides administrative financial oversight only. We do not provide investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or manage investment portfolios. We coordinate with your existing financial advisor, CPA, and attorney at your direction.

What does financial power of attorney support include?

Granitefield provides administrative support for agents already serving under a financial power of attorney. We handle the financial work — bill payment, reconciliation, reporting — so the plan actually gets carried out.

Is my financial information secure?

All documents are stored in SmartVault, an encrypted client portal. All accounts are protected with multi-factor authentication. We never email sensitive documents — everything is shared through the secure portal.

How quickly can you start?

After signed engagement documents, we are typically fully operational within a short onboarding period.
